Getting the blog up and running has taken me a bit longer than anticipated. So, I will attempt to let you all know what we have done up to this point and where we are going in the next few weeks.
After our introductory week to Will James, seventh graders began to familiarize themselves with the safety rules and expectations for our classroom. Below you will find a link to a Google presentation that highlights all the important safety information for our classroom. Students took notes as they worked.

Then we moved into what the scientific method is and emphasized the importance of knowing the vocabulary that is linked to it. Again, you will find a link to the presentation that was viewed to supply students with the pertinent vocabulary and information.

We will continue to work on the scientific method this week, however Monday and Tuesday will be spent in the library orienting students to the numerous educational tools they have at their disposal.
